Sermon Notes:
Preaching is God’s method of spreading and proclaiming His word. This way, all can hear the message and be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Our commission from Jesus is to take His gospel to the world. Christ established His authority to send the disciples into the world to spread the gospel and His guaranteed promise that He will never leave us.
What does the Church need to do?
Go into the world
Make disciples
Baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Teach the multitudes
Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father. God is trying to get more souls into His kingdom. He made a way through the cross for all to be saved. Jesus is gone for a little while but is coming back!
